St. Theresa’s school was inaugurated on 4th July 2011 by most. Rev. Late Dr. Abraham Viruthkulangara , Archbishop of Nagpur . The school started with the strength of 36 students and having the classes Nursery , KG I, KG II and std I , with CBSE pattern of education. The present strength is 750 students and the classes have reached std. VIII.
St. Theresa’s school belongs to Catholic archdiocese of Nagpur. The chief trustee is the Archbishop of Nagpur and the local administration is carried out by the school is conducted by Franciscan Immaculatine Sisters.
St. Theresa’s school is a Christian Minority Institution. Admission in the school is open to all irrespective of race, caste, religion, community or social status. The medium of instruction will be English, Sanskrit and Hindi will be compulsory subjects.
Beside that of all round development of the students, the school aims at inculcating in them such qualities that would make them patriotic , upright and honest citizens. For this purpose, along with academic subject, general principals of morality and good behavior are given special stress.
Students should be punctual and present in the place where they are supposed to be e. g. prayer, sports, games class room etc. Students must avoid wastage and misuse of Laboratory Articles , Furniture and other things around them . They should not raise their voice , shout or use foul language or indulge in quarrels. A student found guilty of breach of discipline and conduct will be expelled from the school without any liability on the part of institute. Student should wear proper uniform with polished and clean shoes, tidy nails and proper hair cut. No case or cell phone is allowed in the school.
Registration
The application forms for admission to Nursery can be availed from the school office. The forms have to be submitted in the office along with the registration fee. A registration number with the date of interview will be allotted.
Admission
Once the child is selected for admission , parents will have to pay the First Installment fee in the Scheduled Bank. Upon showing the receipted challan in the school office, admission procedure will be completed.
Age for seeking admission
Nursery : Three years completed as on 30th September of that academic Year.
Parents are reminded that they are not absolved of their responsibility once the child is admitted in the school. The school expects the parents or guardians to co- operate with school authorities in the cause of education of their children.
Parents should follow the students progress in studies. Their cooperation is Solicited especially to ensure regular attendance and better discipline. They are asked to take special note of the remarks made by the teacher in the calendar regularly.
